The Arts Council invites you to join us for a fundraiser event
held at the Downtown Blues Bar and Grille located at 714 St. Johns Ave Palatka.
We are pleased to have one of the finest Blue Grass Bands around playing for us
on March 11th, 2011. "Blast of Grass" will play at 9:00 PM. The
wonderful Lee Kelly will perform at 8:00PM. The Arts Council is the designated
Local Arts Agency for Putnam County.
Like many non profits our general
support has been drastically cut. All money we raise go to fund our programs
and events as well as operations of the Larimer Arts Center. We hope you will
join us Tickets are $10.00 in advance or $15.00 at the door. So come on get
your tickets now and join us for a 'foot stompin' good time at Billy and
Gaye's Downtown Blues Bar & Grille. This will be a
smoke free night !!!!!

The sound of Bluegrass
music knows no greater fans than the four artists who make up this group. Blast
of Grass has four unique and innovative musicians. Two of the members also
being family members -- Danny Lanier (mandolin and harmony vocals) and son
Justin Lanier (guitar and lead vocals) with the help of Platt Drew (bass) and
Rick Ray (banjo and harmony vocals) each member of this group knows how to
compliment one another’s music in every way.
Blast of Grass has
shared the stage with such artists as Tracy Lawrence, Roy Clark, Ty Herndon,
Cherry Holmes Family, Marty
