The Arts Council of Greater Palatka is announcing a special concert to take place on September 6th at The Larimer Arts Center, 216 Reid Street, in Palatka. The James Brothers will perform in the acoustically rich Larimer’s Scarlett Hill Theater. The Show starts at 7PM while the doors open at 6:30. The cost is $7 and includes an evening of music, refreshments and a laid back and informal social setting.

The James Brothers duo was launched 5 years ago when James (Jim) Tellier and James (Mike) Coker combined their wide ranging musical influences into the time honored Americana style of entertainment. "We jammed together for a while and discovered a mutual admiration of classic country, 60's pop and rock, some more contemporary pop and American standards.  We mixed an electric and acoustic guitar and our brand of Americana was the result", said Coker. "The name came from our being brothers in law, but really, the 'James Brothers in Law' was a bit clumsy" Jim laughed. "We dropped the 'in law', and here we are!" The James Brothers are a family friendly engaging duo.
