Colored Pencil Society Chapter 117 Exhibit
October colors showing at the Arts Council of Greater Palatka will be those of a relatively newly recognized Art form, the colored pencil. We are excited to welcome The Colored Pencil Society of America (CPSA), Chapter 117, from the St. Augustine area. Opening on Oct. 7th, 2016 from 5:30 to 7:30, the show will feature 16 artists showcasing their expertise with the medium, and will continue through the month of Oct. closing on 27th. Hanneke Jevons, current chapter President will give a talk at 6:00 p.m. the evening of the opening. In her email to the Arts Council she wrote “I will give a brief history of our chapter and information on the national colored pencil society.” Free and open to the public.
