Arts Council of Greater Palatka Inc. would like to invite you join us for an Evening of Harry Chapin with Smokin Joe Schauer and Friends at the Arts Council’s next Saturday Nite Live. Saturday, March 18th, at the Latimer Arts Center locate at 216 Reid St. Palatka, Florida. Joe will perform some of his favorite Harry Chapin stories, accompanied by Kim Zielinkski (violin), Lisa Mack (piano) and Wade Schwartout (guitar, vocals). Cost is just $7.00 at the door show starts at 7:30.

Smokin’ Joe Schauer is a singer songwriter based out of St Augustine Florida playing more than 320 gigs per year. Concentrating on the singer/songwriters of the Seventies has been a cornerstone of Joe’s performances for the last 30 years.
Joe developed a love for Harry Chapin’s music, at Ohio University in the 1980’s, and obsessively learned an impressive list of Harry’s music, performing many tributes over the years. Along with those performances, came the philanthropy associated with Harry. Performing at many charitable events and even creating an 8 piece Harry Chapin band for a major drive in 2009 which netted 17,500lbs for local food banks.
