 | The Arts Underground after school art class is back and will begin again Thursday October 6th for children ages 6 – 11. Classes
will be taught by Sally Jan Smith a well known local artist whose
paintings have been exhibited in Florida and California. Class will be held in the lower level of the Larimer Arts Center located at 216 Reid St., Palatka. Classes will be held on Thursday’s each week from 3:30 to 4:30. Cost is 35.00 for 4 classes per month. Drawing and painting will be concentrated on with a wide variety of technique taught. Sally Jan will introduce some outdoor painting so students can experience‘Plein Air Painting’. Field
trips will be scheduled throughout the year to museums such as the
Cummer, the Harn, and the Appleton. (Parents will be asked to
